ABOUT US

In the Old Testament of the Bible, the Tabernacle or the Temple were physical representations of God. Its' purpose was to prepare God's people for what was to come. When Jesus came, he showed us that relationship was superior to religion and God's focus was no longer about a place, but about the people.

In the New Testament churches, the focus on people continued and believers met in houses and public meeting places besides the temple. Here at LifeHouse Church, we believe it's through personal connection that we grow closer to God and one another. So we endeavor to carry on the people-focus nature of the New Testament church by meeting both publicly and from house to house.

We strive to live out the command of Jesus to truly love God and loves our neighbor as ourself. So we endeavor to operate as a church without walls. Jesus calls for us to go outside the walls to reach the lost and the broken. It is there that the lost will be found. Most churches find it is comfortable to stay within the walls, but we make it an effort to be like the church from the book of Acts, to see our community changed. And that can only happen through relationship.

WHAT WE DO

Our mission is to help people find a new life in Christ, a better life here, and eternal life in heaven.

HOW WE DO IT

The following three goals are what we desire to achieve:

DEDICATED TO THE MISSION
DEVOTED TO THE MESSAGE
DISCERNING WITH OUR METHODS

WHY WE DO IT

These core values are the guiding principles for why we do what we do at LifeHouse Church.

These values influence major leadership decisions as well as everyday ministry plans.

WE VALUE TRUTH
WE VALUE THE WORD OF GOD
WE VALUE OUR APOSTOLIC IDENTITY
WE VALUE ACTIVE FAITH
WE VALUE EVANGELISM
WE VALUE PEOPLE
WE VALUE COMMUNITY
WE VALUE EXCELLENCE
WE VALUE RELEVANCE
WE VALUE SACRIFICE

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Our faith is firmly based on the historical events surrounding the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Those events were the catalyst of the world-wide movement called "the Church" of which we are a part. Those events also inspired the eyewitnesses thereof to record their stories as part of the collection of books we call the Bible. We labor to understand, believe and practice what was originally taught and lived by the Apostolic Church of the first century as recorded in the Bible as applicable to our culture. As a church, we believe the following:

Jesus Christ
The Resurrection of Jesus
The Bible
God
Sin and Salvation
The Gospel and Conversion
Christian Living
Eternity
