What We Do

Our Mission

A loving family guiding you to New Life in Christ, a better life here, and eternal life in Heaven.

Who We Are

Our Vision

Dedicated to the Mission (Matthew 28.19-20, Acts 1.8)

Devoted to the Message (John 3.5-7, Acts 2.38-39)

Discerning with our Methods (I Corinthians 9.19; 22)

Why We Do It

Our Values

These core values are the guiding principles for why we do what we do at LifeHouse Church. These values influence major leadership decisions as well as everyday ministry plans.

We Value People

Because people matter to Jesus, we believe they should matter to the church.

We will evangelize both empathetically and effectively by creating authentic connections within our loving family (Luke 19.10; Luke 5.30-32; Matthew 18.10-14).

We Value Evangelism

Because there is a heaven to gain and a hell to shun, we are passionate about loving those far from Christ so they can connect with Him.

We will do what no one is doing to reach the people who no one is reaching (Luke 14.15-24; Luke 15; Acts 20.17-27).

We Value Community

Because God commanded us to love one another, we believe we should connect with each other as much as possible.

We will practice love-motivated ministry, ministry accomplished in groups, relationship building, discipleship, vulnerability, and accountability (1 Corinthians 13; Nehemiah 3; Luke 10.1; John 13.34–35; Luke 6.12–13)

We Value the Word of God

Because the Bible is the revealed Word of God, we believe it is essential to who we are and what we do.

We will teach Biblical truths that will transform the lives of individuals and the church (2 Tim 3.16-17; James 1.23-25).

We Value Our Apostolic Identity

Because the early church was radically dedicated to Apostolic doctrine and deeds, we believe our actions and beliefs should reflect the radical selflessness of Apostolic love, learning, and service.

We will commit ourselves to the study of God’s word, the working of the Spirit, regular fellowship with one another, irrational generosity to others, heartfelt prayer and worship, sacrificial service to our community, and tireless evangelism of the lost (Acts 2.42-47).

We Value Active Faith

Because we serve a great, big God, we believe we should have great, big faith.

We will dream big and start small. We will be movers, shakers, and risk-takers.

We Value Excellence

Because Jesus gave His all, we believe we should give Him our best.

We will strive for excellence in all things in order to honor God and inspire others (Proverbs 27.17; Malachi 1.6-14; Colossians 3.17).

We Value Relevance

Because culture always changes while the Word of God remains constant, we believe we should strive to be relevant to our community while pledging to stay true to the Bible.

We will sensitively connect through our facility, printed materials, and use of the arts (1 Corinthians 9.19–23).

We Value Sacrifice

Because Jesus sacrificed everything for us, we believe He deserves our everything in return.

We will be irrationally generous because we know it is truly better to give than to receive (Ex 36.1-5; Luke 21.1-4; Acts 2.44-48; Acts 4.34-37; 2 Cor 8.1-15).
